Sky - A Town Called Malice Immersive Launch Event
For the launch event of Sky’s new TV show, A Town Called Malice, an immersive event experience was designed with three scenes for the guests to move through. The event was held at Village Underground, one of our venue partners, and we helped transform the space with a comprehensive audio and visual system, prop sourcing, and project management.
As a 40-year commemoration, Stone Island created a limited edition magazine, ‘Famiglia’, which features in-depth interviews with some of the minds behind Stone Island. To celebrate the launch of the magazine, notable figures were brought together for a panel talk, which London Filmed branded and live streamed through the HYPEBEAST Instagram account to its 10.4 million followers.
Magnite returned to London Filmed to assist with their yearly eMpower event, which is designed to equip delegates with the most recent information and insights on media and advertising trends. This year, we were able to help Magnite return to an in-person event format at the stunning Ham Yard Hotel. The project entailed venue sourcing, event photography, filming, video production, AV support, event design, and production.
While every event is different, we always provide in-depth timelines and plans covering pre and post-event, including delivery schedules, set up, pack down and debrief.
Site visit
We’ll discuss your unique project roadmap in our kick-off call. It’s likely we’ll start by visiting your venue to get a clear understanding of the space, take measurements, and get a feel for the event vision. If you’re also having event filming, photography, live streaming, or AV support at your event, we’ll discuss the tech requirements with the venue too.
Creative concept
We will work on a range of creative options for the space, ensuring your budget is not only met, but maximised. We’ll provide a full creative concept, with mock-ups and 3D renders to help you visualise the plans.
Design, build & deliver
Once the concept has been signed-off, we’ll get to work to get everything ready for the big event. Your dedicated project manager will oversee the process from start to finish, we’ll create a shared workspace to keep you in the loop, and we’ll check in regularly with updates. On the event day, we’ll be on hand to set up, make sure everything is just right, and we will even manage the pack-down too!

What do our clients think?
London Filmed helped us produce a fantastic panel talk event for a Hypebeast x Stone Island collaboration. Extremely communicative, easy to work with and the process was very smooth. Would highly recommend.
From the offset, Nick and his team were knowledgeable, communicative and extremely generous with their time at such short notice. The team led the way on all aspects of tech and design, which left us able to focus on the content of the presentation – a welcome relief. Most importantly, they were calm and capable throughout which truly put our speakers at ease. We wouldn’t hesitate to use London Filmed again and would highly recommend their services to other companies.
Can’t recommend London Filmed enough, they were professional, organised, knowledgable and genuinely fun to work with. From start to finish the team were very communicative, providing advice and talking us through every stage of the process.
We worked with Tom and the London Filmed team on our online end-of-programme event, and were thoroughly impressed with the results. London Filmed lead on the technical aspects of producing the event, managing the live stream, briefing our speakers, and providing their advice on making the most of the online platform we used – we were able to go into the event confident that everything was in hand. London Filmed also took our existing brand assets and created a unique look-and-feel for the event, which added a high degree of polish. London Filmed will be the first company I speak to for any future events.
From the initial meeting right through to the final pre-production meeting, we were overwhelmingly impressed by their attention to detail, suggestions and guidance that helped build and elevate our event. During the live, London Filmed were a joy to work with, reactive and problem solved, offering end-to-end high quality event delivery. We highly recommend London Filmed for your next project!
What is event branding and design, and why is it important?
Event branding and design encompass a broad range of design elements. Branding covers the process of creating a unique identity and personality for an event through the use of visual elements and colours that are aligned with a company’s brand guidelines. The branded elements can be utilised across all of the event touchpoints, including social media posts and digital event assets. Event design uses the event’s brand to bring your event space to life. This includes lighting, decor, signage, props, and other visual elements that contribute to the overall look and feel of an event.
What are some key design elements to consider for event design?
It is vital to consider the floor plan and venue layout, lighting, decor, and signage, as well as other design elements such as stage banners, custom lecterns, etc. that will create a cohesive and visually appealing experience for attendees. It is also important to consider the practical aspects of design, such as accessibility, safety, and the logistics of assembly and disassembly. Critical to the success of your event is the compatibility of the design with the event tech to ensure the event is visually and experientially successful. It is essential to work closely with technical experts and to integrate technical requirements into the overall design process.
What are some emerging trends in event set design?
Some emerging trends in event set design include the use of interactive or immersive installations, the incorporation of technology and digital elements, and the use of sustainable and eco-friendly materials. Emerging trends keep your event fresh, but make sure it feels natural to incorporate them into your design and that they are appropriate for the event topic and audience.
Do you offer sustainable event branding solutions?
Yes, there are many ways to lower the impact of traditional event branding and event design options that we can help with. For example, we have designed and produced stage backdrops that are made of PVC-free, recyclable material, as well as cardboard honeycomb structures and furniture.
We can also advise on ways to reuse your event displays, for instance upcycling your stage banners into tote bags!
We have printing suppliers that print with biodegradable inks and we often work with energy-efficient digital displays, which cut out a lot of the material waste and printing requirements of traditional event displays.
There are many ways to make your event more sustainable, so get in touch to see how we can help you lower the impact of your event and read our blog on sustainable event branding.
