Carbon Forward Hybrid Conference
How we produced a 3-day hybrid Carbon Forward conference at the De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in West London.
We partnered with Robinhood to deliver an exclusive customer event featuring live music, panel discussions, a product demo, and opportunities to connect with Robinhood’s leadership team. Our team provided full AV support, custom event branding across both floors of the venue, stage design and build, and professional event photography.
Our on-site team managed all the details to bring the event together. The design team took the lead on implementing branded elements throughout the venue, making sure every touchpoint felt cohesive and impactful. Meanwhile, our AV team was busy rigging screens, lighting, and sound systems — as well as handling the technical setup for a live stream featuring Robinhood’s CEO and an in-app demonstration. Overseeing it all, our project manager and sales lead worked closely with the client and venue staff to keep everything running smoothly and on schedule.
Starting with the client brief, our design team created visual mockups to showcase how branded elements would appear throughout the two floors of the venue. This included branded flagpoles at the entrance, vinyl logos in the bar alcoves, custom tote bags for guests, a large foamex logo to enhance the stairway between floors, branded cushions, framed agendas on the tables, and an LED logo cube. We also designed, constructed, and dressed a custom stage positioned in the center of the room for the panel discussion.
One room was dedicated to networking and celebrating the launch. Alongside the branded décor, we supplied audio equipment for a DJ to set the tone, with our Sound Technician handling setup and testing of the speaker system. For the panel, our Live Stream Engineer used the in-house projector to broadcast both a live app demonstration and a virtual appearance by Robinhood’s CEO. Our technician equipped all panellists with microphones connected to the speaker system for clear, amplified sound throughout the space. Uplighters and brand-color lighting washes were used to create a cohesive, branded atmosphere across both floors.
Our photographer documented key moments with a mix of candid and staged shots, based on the client’s brief. This included guest interactions, atmosphere shots, live music, the panel discussion and Q&A, close-ups of speakers, and the CEO’s virtual appearance. All images were professionally edited and delivered tothe client within 48 hours of the event.
